Angela Sexton serves as Senior Manager for the NCASI Foundation, where she oversees financial management, grant administration, compliance, and operational support for research and conservation programs. She works closely with NCASI researchers, funding agencies, universities, and partner organizations to support effective stewardship of federal, state, and private funding while advancing the Foundation’s scientific mission.
Prior to joining NCASI, Angela built a career spanning accounting, finance, nonprofit administration, and organizational leadership. Her experience includes financial reporting, budgeting, grants management, compliance, internal controls, and process improvement across nonprofit and corporate environments. At the NCASI Foundation, Angela focuses on strengthening financial and operational systems, supporting grant compliance, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and developing sustainable practices that enable successful research program management. Her professional interests include nonprofit leadership, federal grants management, organizational governance, risk management, audit readiness, and continuous process improvement.
