Background

Nadine leads the Community pillar at SFI, with a focus on advancing collaboration between the SFI network and local communities. Her work supports the capacity of the SFI network, strengthens relationships with government leaders, and utilizes SFI’s community grants to advance forest sustainability and outreach at the local level. Prior to joining SFI in 2010, she was Director of Forest Policy at the American Forest & Paper Association and Program Manager at the Pinchot Institute for Conservation. Nadine has over 25 years of professional experience in forest policy and holds a Master of Forestry degree from the Yale School of the Environment and a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Williams College.
